Several years ago, Griffin changed the push-on joint it uses. Griffin uses a Tyton® joint gasket in 3” - 24” pipe. In sizes 30” - 48” Griffin uses the Fastite® gasket. The Tyton® joint gasket is interchangeable with the US Pipe Tyton® gasket and the Fastite® gasket is the same as American Cast Iron Pipe Company’s gasket.
